A casual Thai kitchen at Vibes of Nature, Kathu. Real cooking, cold drinks, warm evenings — and the kind of unhurried Phuket you came looking for.
Pinto (ปิ่นโต) is the traditional Thai tiered food carrier — round containers clipped together and carried to school, to the temple, to the fields. Rice at the base, a curry above, soup or something sweet on top.
It was how Thai mothers packed love into a lunchbox. Simple, honest, complete. That is the spirit of this place.
The base. Steamed jasmine, sticky from Isaan, fragrant brown.
Built on fresh-pounded paste. Green, red, massaman, panang.
Tom yum, tom kha, clear broths bright with lime and galangal.
Mango sticky rice, coconut custard, lod chong on ice.

Pinto stands beside the Vibes of Nature Culinarium — a striking three-storey building wrapped in a 360° glass cylinder framed by a modern wooden slat structure. Designed to look beautiful, and to breathe.
The timber latticework filters light, encourages natural airflow and keeps the space cool the way good architecture should — without asking much of the planet. The roof quietly harvests solar energy to power the whole building.
Wrapped in glass, looking out across gardens, Culinarium and sky.
Filters light and breeze, no air-con required to feel cool.
Powers the whole building. Honest cooking, honest energy.
The food is guided by Chef Yannick Hollenstein — the Swiss-trained chef behind OMEMO, our acclaimed fine dining sister — who brings the same insistence on quality and freshness to Pinto's Thai kitchen. The cooking itself stays in Thai hands, true to its roots.
"We don't fancy this food up. We just refuse to cut corners on what goes into it."
When dinner is done, there's no need to go far. A bridge connects Pinto directly to EMO Lounge — Vibes of Nature's modern cocktail and cigar bar. The natural conclusion to a Thai evening: cross over, sink into something elegant, let the night carry on.
